My Story & Experience:
For over two decades, I’ve worked with children and families, first in schools and now in private practice, helping them navigate emotional and academic challenges, including some I’ve faced myself. Through this work, I’ve seen firsthand how trauma, anxiety, and depression can shape a person’s life. This understanding is at the heart of my practice today.
My personal journey has also deepened my commitment to therapy. After struggling with infertility, miscarriages, and an ectopic pregnancy, I learned how profoundly life’s hardships can impact our sense of self. But I also discovered the power of healing, connection, and resilience. Pain is universal, but so is the potential for growth. Every person carries a story and I’m here to listen and to hold space for you with care, for as long as you need.
I earned my Master’s in Counseling and Human Relations from Villanova University in 2005 and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). As an EMDRIA-approved EMDR Certified Therapist, I integrate evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal Theory, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) informed techniques. I am a Consultant in Training (CIT) at the Trauma Therapist Institute, supporting clinicians who are beginning their EMDR journey.
I work with women and men individually, as well as children, teens, and young adults, adoptees, BIPOC individuals, and Christian clients. I specialize in helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, complex PTSD, dissociative disorders, religious trauma, sexual abuse/assault, betrayal, and adjustment to life transitions.
Outside of my practice, I’m a wife and mom of three, sharing life in a multigenerational home. When I’m not working, you’ll find me gardening, playing golf, or riding bikes with my family which are activities that help me stay grounded and present.

My work with children and adolescents integrates Playful EMDR, combining play therapy, art therapy, and sand tray therapy with traditional EMDR therapy. This fun, creative approach allows children to express difficult emotions in a safe, non-threatening way, helping them heal without feeling overwhelmed.

I can work collaboratively with your current therapist to support and complement your ongoing weekly therapy, while focusing on more immediate or intense emotional needs.
Weekly Sessions:
Regular weekly sessions provide ongoing support as we work together at a comfortable pace. These sessions are a great choice if you're looking for steady, consistent guidance as you navigate life’s challenges.
EMDR Intensives:
- EMDR Intensives are designed for those ready to dive deeply into their emotional healing.
- In a series of longer, focused sessions, we can work through significant emotional challenges, trauma, and stress more quickly than with weekly therapy alone.Hybrid Option:
